[pure-silver] Re: Increasing Grain

P.S. Sorry, short term memory problem!
By using the dark slide you can of course give three exposures, save film and see which gives the best result.

Hello Uncle Dick,
I've no experience with Delta 3200, but I think you will get better and more predictable results using a grain screen sandwiched with images on fine grain 35mm film. I have a piece of Kodak Royal X Pan film, developed in D163 which gives excellent results. The film is probably not still available, but any fast film exposed to a blue sky or a white card and developed in a print developer would do. Use a 5x4 film if you have it; cut up, and sandwich emulsion to emulsion.

Dear Friends,

I want to experiment with Ilford Delta 3200 film in 35mm size with the view to simulating the grainy effects seen in some bromoil works. Any suggestions as to how the grain could be increased?

   Thank you.

    Uncle Dick
