        Last year I looked at those LEDs and they still seemed expensive for 
bigger 
heads. They seemed  like a good choice when the cost per LED drops but the 
5watt ones were over $10 [or was it higher?] 

        For spilt filtering $12 will buy two 20"x24" sheets of lighting 
filters.
