[pure-silver] Re: How long do you spend in the darkroom ?

Four to five hours to get one or two prints you like. That's way too long.

Do read my article "On Printing." http://www.michaelandpaula.com/mp/onprinting.html on the my web site www.michaelandpaula.com. By following the described approach to making a print your time to make a fine print should be cut in half.

Good luck.

Well I think that is more common than unusual Janet. We all go through those types of frustrations. We all have to learn, and when its done alone in the dark its easy to wonder at times why we do this. It is hard to remember its just the normal learning process, and we are finding what we like one mistake at a time.

That makes me feel better. It takes me a long time and
lots of tries to get a print I *almost* like. Sometimes that makes me wonder if I'm just not "getting it" and should give it up. But I don't give it up. All it takes is one image I like and I'm fired up
 again.
