[pure-silver] Re: How do you wash fiber paper?

Ben

A large tray combined with a siphon is a good archival washing method for
single prints but takes too long for multiple prints. So called ?archival
washer¹ (a better name would be ?quantity washer¹) is unlikely to do any
better but pretty much industry standard for convenience reasons. Modern
washers use little volume and modest flow rates. Modern Nova, Calumet and,
in spite of their name (because gravity does not work in eliminating fixer),
Gravityworks are all good washers. I suggest a 30 minute final wash in 20C
(70F) water. Cold water is less effective.
