For up to 11x14 the sequence that I use is this:
After being fixed, the prints go into a
Zone VI 'washing machine' which is sort of like a
holding tray with circulating water. During a
printing session, the prints accumulate in there and
sit there from a couple of minutes to an hour or so.
They go from the washing machine to a tray with
Permawash for 5 mins
From the tray they go to an old archival washer for 20
mins.
If I am going to tone, this is the time, followed by
more time in the archival washer.
When I go larger than 11x14 the washingmachine and
print washer don't work, so I hold in a large
tray/small sink with a kodak siphon, then do the final
wash in the same tray, shuffling the prints every
couple of mins, for 20 mins total.
