pp. 608 -- 625 of Modern Photographic Processing, vol. 1, by Grant Haist, are on
Silver Recovery.  pp. 619 -- 625 cover electrolysis methods.

One design described doesn't require agitation but has a lower collection rate
and may require large electrode areas.  0.20 to 0.40 V/sq ft, stainless steel
cathode and carbon or graphite anode -- patent by Henri Doffin (British,
476,985, 1937).   Also cited is US Patent 2,615,839 (1952) by Henry Willier.
