I hear about online publishing but have no experience of it (preferring the 
darkroom of course).

Recalling the many long weeks of layout, design and re-editing that preceded 
the book I’m not sure it is so simple to reproduce via blurb or whatever. 

Am I wrong?

Well Tim  One thing I do hope you consider with your "out of print" books is to 
not let them STAY out of print.  Way too much valuable information there to 
keep them unavailable.  Though the niche may be too small for the big 
publishing houses to make enough of a profit to keep them in print, this to me 
seem to be the perfect situation for self publishing them.  A place like Lulu 
or Blurb or maybe any of a host of possible outlets are available with minimal 
effort there to keep them available and profitable for you.  The hard work is 
already done.

I made a phone call to KEH the other day about trying to find some used Paul 
Buff lights.  The response was, "We almost never get any because anyone that 
buys them keeps them."  I suspect your books would fall into the same category. 
 Yet with self publishing, even if its just a few a month with no up front 
investment its cash that wouldn't have been there otherwise and the knowledge 
is still readily available.

Just my 2 cents worth or with inflation I better toss in a nickel.

Yes the 1st LITH book (was actually my 2nd book) is the MPLPC and the 2nd
LITH book (actually my 4th book) is the WOLP.

The materials list you downloaded from my site is more up dated than WOLP
now and I will have to update it again this fall I expect, meanwhile the
newletters have been updating it. I can send you those if you want then,
together with the one about to go out, you'll be bang up to date and
somewhat ahead in fact as the latest news in it hasn't been released yet.

The WOLP is more than an update on materials though. It is the only
international collection of lith printers' work. As it is such a flexible
process it can be pushed into many different 'looks' and I felt that could
be inspirational. It also contains some newer techniques BTW.

Just to be certain, your first book is 'The Master Photographer's Lith
Printing Course', and the second is 'The World of Lith Printing', right?

If so, I'm gonna buy the first one. And the second book has essentially the
same updated materials info. as the FREE REPORT on your web site?

The images of lith prints that I'm seeing on-line are really very special.
Very convincing.
