[pure-silver] Green vs Yellow filters

I have been using a yellow filter (K2) for my landscape/outdoor black and  
white shots for some time.  Recently it was suggestion that a switch to  green 
(X1) would give me the same values in the sky and lighter tones with  foliage.  
This all seems to make good sense and I plan to make some  comparative 
prints.   Is there any good references on a  comparison of these two filters?
