[pure-silver] Re: Grain Size

I used Rodinal-sulfite for many years as my developer of choice. There
was an article many years ago in one of the photography magazines called
Rodinal Rejiggered that described the method.

Make up a 9% solution of sodium sulfite (90 grams in water to make up 1
liter) and use that to dilute the D76. You will have to experiment to
get
the correct development time.

This has been done before. Try a google search of "sulfite Rodinal" no
quotes. Rodinal dissolvedin sulfite tames the inherent graininess of
Rodinal.
