Why in the world would you? I wouldn't know how to cope without it (well,
with ID-11, of course). I think it's a great standard developer and still
the benchmark, balancing grain, speed and sharpness, while optimized
developers often have difficulty to reach any two.

I like the grain/speed/sharpness tradeoffs I get with XTOL better, but there is something about D-76/ID-11 tonality that makes me continue to use it on occasion.
