I'm sure Kodak had no malicious intention. Besides Neutol Plus and
Ilfosol S, there is no ascorbate developer on market (well, FX-50 came
afterward) and it certainly took Kodak, Dickerson and Zawadski a lot
of courage to commercialize that formula and keep it on the market. I
think more of a question is whether we want XTOL to remain offered, or
do we want it go away.

And I am still puzzled why Kodak still doesn't fix the problem.

The market is too small to bother... yes. But then why 2l package??
