[pure-silver] Film support Was: Free Kodak Film

It is my understanding that Bergger does not manufacture any film but
only rebrands with their name.

Subject: [pure-silver] Re: Free Kodak Film

I have just caught up on reading my e-mails. I am a little surprised
that people see the alternatives to Kodak and Ilford, my two least
favorite papers, as second rate. I have used Oriental Seagull paper,
both graded and VC, for more than a decade and IMO nothing comes even
near it.
I agree that Kodak films are very reliable and Ilford makes films that
stain wonderfully in Pyro developers but Bergger sheet film is wonderful
as well though I prefer it in a non Pyro dev.
Is this just opinion or have y'all never tried Oriental fiber based
papers?
