An interesting article that confirms what most here already knew, but it's nice
to have an authorative confirmation, I look forward to reading Erwin's future
articles on the subject.
As an aside there was an article on the BBC's website recently
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/click_online/8711747.stm that implies
that the life of a CD as a storage medium is currently no better than 3 years,
which I thought compared rather poorly with the small piece of film needed to
hold the same information.
