I discovered my white t-shirt was the worst offender while at the
enlarger. Constantly changing contrast. Took several years to figure out
my belly was getting too far into my work

BTW, I took seriously the suggestion by a couple people on the list
to 'black out' the walls and ceiling around my enlarger. I went to
the local art supply and picked up some sheets of 3/16" black
foamboard and tacked them to the wall and ceiling. I also looked for
every small item that might have a reflective property (and was very
near the enlarger) and covered them with black electrician's tape.
I now have a very dark corner of the darkroom.
