I am not familiar with this particular light bulb, but according to
the GE light manual, at rated voltage, bulb lifetime = ( Vbulb /
Vrated )^12.
That is, lifetime goes as the voltage on the bulb, Vbulb over Vrated
which is the voltage that the bulb is rated for, to the 12 power.
If Vbulb > Vrated, use -12 power.
So, you do not have to go very high in increased voltage to
drastically shorten the lifetime.
