Hello
I just bought an Ektanon 135/4.5 enlarging lens, but I kind of follishly
assumed this would be in M39 mount. It now appear to be larger than M42,
with a much denser thread. Could this possibly be M44? Anyway, I need to
fit the lens on a 4x4 metal plate of a Beseler 45MX enlarger. The hole
on the plate is too small to let the thread pass, so some kind of
adapter would be required. Alternatively, I could use a retainer ring on
some home built 4x4 plate - if only I had this king of ring.
Any idea what's the name of this kind of lens mount? Any idea where I
could find either of the items described above? I understand that this
is rather ancient stuff and that some eBay hunting might be in order.
But it would be easier to find looking for it with its exact name.
