..or you can use only (AN) glass on top of the negative, since the curve is 
usually "up" when the emulsion is towards the enlarger lens, 2 surfaces less 
where dust can settle..I use this kind of carrier for negatives upto 6*6, for 
4*5 I use 2 glassplates..
