[pure-silver] Re: Easel masks?

Nick,
I use black mat board for RC paper, and a 20'x24" vacuum easel with a black
mat board for FB paper. To process you can use a Jobo 2800 print drum system
by adding 2 2870 modules to a 2830 tank. The tank would be 32" long. This
tank would handle 16"x30" easy. A tank with a single 2870 module would
handle 16"x20" print The solution beaker in the lid holds 300cc which might
be enough to process print on a single use of the solution.200cc solution is
adequate for 16"x20". You could lengthen the beaker if you needed more. The
drum works this way you load the print pour in solution. Secure cap, turn on
lights, lay drum on side which introduces liquid from beaker, then roll on
table top.

Subject: [pure-silver] Easel masks?

Hi,

I bought a new to me easel. From the pictures I'm assuming it was
intended to
be used by portrait photographers to gang multiple prints on one sheet of
paper. It's lacking the inserts that would divide the paper up into the
smaller formats.

Now that's fine with me since I don't want to use it like it was
intended.
The easel image area is 12"x36" [actually supposed to be 12.5" but I'm
hoping
that's not a problem]. I want to make a mask to hold down 12" wide roll
paper. Masked to panoramic formats. Say 1:2 and 1:3 [10x20 10x30?]. Some
thing like that exact measurements aren't the issue right now.

Okay the question. Anybody think black mat board will work for this?
The plan
will be to insert the precut paper. Insert the mask. Expose. Then wonder how

to process -)

        Thanks
        Nick
