But they do leave behind stringy very thin fiber on rough surfaces. I
usually follow the swifer wipe down with a blow of air; can or compressor.

I agree the fluffy ones work quite well for the nooks and crannies of the
enlarger and various other bits around the darkroom (and the house in
general).

For dusting enlargers, film holders etc. 
I have found these things work superbly:

Available at Costco.

Plain-old discount store micro-fibre rags/towels are also good at removing
dust, but they don't get into the cracks as well as the swiffers.


[The swiffer floor sweeper product is close to worthless - push a microfibre
rag around with mop]
