Hi ,
I recently acquired a "Durst Componon" 105mm enlarger lens by Schneider along
with a bunch of stuff I bought from a retired photographer. This lens is a
smaller size lens and I thought it would use one of the lensboards with a 25mm
opening as do all the other small Componon lenses I have seen before.
As it turns out, this lens is slightly larger and will not fit into the 25mm
opening. I measure it to be 28mm across the rear element. I have searched
online but can find nothing about lensboards made with that size opening. (I
have a Beseler 4x5 enlarger). Was this lens made specifically for Durst
enlargers only? And are there lens boards with that size opening made for other
enlargers?
Thanks.
