The 500 class is very nice but also nearly 100 kg of mass.
It makes sense in a frame shop doing large mounting where "time is money"---
although perhaps they'd be these days better to select a vacuum press--- but
in our typical settings and a new price of twice the Commercial (210-M, 210-MX),
its a bit heafty an investment.
The Commercial can handle a 50x60cm print in a single press and can be used
to mount, by working in bites, prints of unlimited length and up to 36" (91 cm)
in width. At 32 kg its still very heavy but more compatible with the desire
to want to move one.
Another excellent press to consider are the Ademco Dry Mount Press models (also
owned by the same people that own Seal). These are more massive than the Seal
models and look like a cross between a dry mount and an iron book press. For
flattening prints they are less suited than the Seal models but do well
mounting (although its really a question of taste between the two concepts
which is "better") but really shine with textures.
P.S.: The Seal presses are not longer called Seal. It seems that Seal (which at
the time also owned Ademco) went into Hunt Corp but in the restructuring they
sold off parts as "Seal Graphics" to Neschen A.G. (which is where the vacuum
presses are) but apparently parked, for a short while, the mechanical presses
under their BIENFANG brand and have since renamed them to "Masterpiece" (yes
even the 210 Commercial and 160 Jumbos are now called "Masterpiece"). Seems
confusing? I'm confused (and not sure who has what)!
