I kinda make shadow animals with my hands to dodge. To burn, I have a homemade
ones. I don't think I've ever bought them before except for the time I got my
very own enlarger "kit" back in the 80's. It came with it.

Probably fifty years ago I bought dodging tools. A couple of thin wire handles and clear red plastic circles, ovals, and other crazy stuff. All of the red plastic stuff went by by very quickly but I still have and use the wire handles. They are very thin and formed into a double loop [of wire] at the business end. I use pieces of thin cardboard, black paper, whatever, cut into the shape that I want, and then stick it into the double wire loop holder. This works great. And when dodging, it is very easy to dodge in a way that the wire (regardless of thickness) will never show.

Also, my ZBE neg holders have a cutout (on the outside) over the neg and I have a piece of thin glass that will drop in there. I put a piece of thin frosted acetate over the glass and use a Satbilo 8008 pencil to shade in a large and/or irregular areas that needs holding back. That allows me to hand dodge & burn other areas.
