it is not all true that's printed in development charts.
The German chemist Franz S. Borgerding published his experiment which consisted in measuring the potential of Rodinal 1+50 at 20°C with constant agitation. It fell under 700 mV after 17 minutes vs. normal hydrogene. That means that the developer does not work no longer.
I quote: Beim Kippen jeweils nach etwa 17min (the developer as dead). Das hübsche bei Entwicklern ist ja, daß sie Redox-Chemie machen und sich so per Potentialmessung leicht in die Karten schauen lassen. Sinkt das Potential unter ca. 700mV ggü. Normalwasserstoff ab, ist die Brühe photographisch mausetot und selbst das Prinzip guter Hoffnung hilft nicht mehr.

How can that be? Maco has Agfa APX in Rodinal 1+50 for 20 minutes. I
would think they'd know...

This chart gives Plus X in 1+50 @ 20ºC for 13 minutes.
Agitate first 30 sec, then one inversion every 30 seconds.

I got great results following this chart with Rollei Retro 400 (120)
in 1+50 @ 20ºC for 11.5 minutes.
