Thanks Don. I have the 1st ed. and I hadn't thought to look there. It's
getting so I forget that Google doesn't "know" everything and that there are
these things called books here!

Stephen Anchell's Darkroom Cookbook (2ed) has 3
developer stain removers, including #185 for clothing:
5% solution of KMnO3 followed (when set) by a
10% solution of NaHSO3.
There is a warning about possible bleaching of
coloured fabrics, so test in an unobtrusive place first.

I just found this one posted in a forum and wondering if anyone has experience
with it before I apply it around the zipper area? I think the stain as is
would be better than if the fabric was bleached out! =)
"Kodak stain remover S-10:
Water..............................96oz
Kodak Thiourea.............10oz
Kodak Citric Acid...........10oz
Water to make................ 1 gallon
Wet the stain with this solution and wait for the stain to disappear. Old
stains may require more than one application and a longer time (several
minutes)to disappear. The garment should be thoroughly washed after the stains
have been removed.
The above formula & description is from an old version of the Compact Photo
Lab Index."

Thanks Claudio. Unfortunately one of those is for fixer stains and I have a
developer stain. The developer's where I like to splash around the most. =)
The other one contains sulphuric so I don't think that one will do too well on
clothes.

The old Kodak publication J-1 has a couple of stain removers (page 49):
