I've used 220 slide film with a pair of Yashica Mat-124Gs (I shoot
stereo). I don't need to aply pressure to keep the backs closed while
latching them and I haven't had problems with light leaks.
I highly recommend Mark Hama <http://www.markhama.com/> to work on
your Yashica.
