Well, I'm finally of tomorrow for my 8 days of photography in Death Valley. Still packing but I'm getting there.
I just want to thank all the persons who contributed, in one way or another, with the tips, information, maps, reminders about ways of adapting to the desert habitat. All have been duly noted. 

A great big THANK YOU!  Let the adventure begin.

for the latest forcast for the area. We are having a heat wave in SoCal now and its 106F with 4% RH at DV right now with highs of 108F predicted for the entire week.
