You, as everyone usually does, have "ECHOPOST" set in your user flags at 
freelists.com. I believe that you have your e-mail client set to send all 
posts that you send out, back to yourself. So when you send a post to 
pure-silver, you get a copy from your e-mail client (or back from your ISP) 
and then you also get a copy from pure-silver@freelists.

So by setting "ECHOPOST" in freelists to off, the pure-silver list will not 
send you your own post. It will only go to other members. Your own e-mail 
client sends you a copy of what you sent to the list.

I set ECHOPOST off in your profile. You can do this yourself by logging on 
to www.freelists.org using your e-mail address and password, selecting the 
pure-silver list, and clicking on "change settings". If you change a 
setting, you must then click "update your account." So if you now get no 
pure-silver posts, you may set it back on and then talk to your ISP about 
double posts.
