Well just an update and a thanks for all those that helped. Bob didn't have
them, and didn't recommend doing anything to fix it. No one seems to have
them. I have only a couple of choices.

Get another enlarger or head. When I find the right deal and the bigger
problem is getting the ok from the boss, then that's what I will do. The next
option I might try if I anyone has ever taken one of these beasts apart, is
cutting my own. Still this seems more trouble than its worth and when the
filters fade again its a do over.

This unit doesn't have a filter drawer. It was built with the intent of not
needing one. So I am again down to just a couple of choices. The easiest
would be to just hold a contrast filter below the lens. Yet that makes the
filter part of the image, and probably would degrade the image quality at least
a bit. The other option would be to just lay a contrast filter on top of the
negative carrier and let the unit just rest on the filter. This way the image
wouldn't be projected through the filter, but the filter likely wouldn't last
as long and it probably wouldn't be as easy or quick. Thoughts of the group?

Some weeks are just bad. Opened a new package of Dektol. This time I mixed it
just like the package said. It was in one of those new packages. After mixed
its a darker brown with a fine white particulate in settling to the bottom. I
am guessing I got a bad bag of Dektol, which would be the perfect way to wind
up a week. Thank goodness its Friday, or is it Monday???
