bleach, I used the colour bleach as an example of a aggressive solution
to which the tanks and clips are resistant, so again assume that these
clips can stand some nasty chemistry.
I would hate to spoil these expensive clips though..
I would not use household bleach.
Furthermore, I would not use photographic bleach any more than necessary and
immediately wash it off afterwards. Color bleach will eat up most stainless
steel after a while, but if you remove it as soon as you are finished using
it, the deterioration will be slow. OTOH, those pins are very small, so you
should think twice before attempting to use it as a cleaner.
I imagine your streaking is due to some other cause, and you should
investigate that. You do wash _and dry_ the clip between using it, do you not?
