[pure-silver] Re: Arista VC papers

The same discoloration happened to me with two different brands of RC
paper.  I had been blaming the paper developer that I was using.  But
realize now that this could not be the cause. =20

     My only comment about Arista paper is that the stuff I=20
used about ten years ago has developed a pinkish-brown stain=20
in the _support_. Its noticable when compared to other=20
paper. I don't know what the cause is but it appeared very=20
soon after the prints were made. I may still have some of=20
this paper left in storage so I should probably check a=20
sample of unprocessed paper in the light to see if the stock=20
is just that color. I have no idea who made this paper=20
except that it definitely was not Ilford.
