[pure-silver] Re: Arista EDU Ultra

Well doing something drastic and opening a box I found two things. First is
that it is an eastern block film from the Czech republic. That typically means
quality control issues. Second is a phone number to Freestyle so I just
called. The another poster was indeed correct. It is Fomapan rebadged to
their house brand. That in a way makes me feel better. Not used Foma, but I
have heard some good things about it. Now when I asked about the eastern
Europe quality control issues the sales lady said they have had no problems
with that. Ok what else would they say, but if its a real big problem its
often if you have a problem we will replace it. Still I am not totally
convinced yet their won't be problems, but it is at least worth the time to
investigate. At about $2 a roll for 35mm its hard to go too bad wrong.
