If it is from the last couple of years I keep reading it is Foma film. I have tried a little in 200 speed 120, and 100 speed 8x10, and I come up with quite a pin hole problem in the 120 and a little bit of the same in 8x10 but not so bad.

Funny how I have often had very good luck with expired film. You just have to be smart as to when to use it. IF its color critical, no way. If its photos you can't make again, nope. Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent. Yet for fun on a Sunday afternoon, I have had some really nice surprises.
Actually I am always amazed at how tolerant film can be. A number of years ago I stumbled on to a roll of film in a storage box. Exposed but undeveloped. I had no idea where it came from. I thought this has to be junk, but I am going into the darkroom anyway tonight so why not. Well as it turned out there were images there. They were taken at a Cubs baseball game on one of the first dates I had with my wife. There was one of the late Harry Carey signing autographs before the game that is on my light table, an this is after sitting for about 10 years in the heat, cold, and poor storage conditions of any old storage box. Wonder how many Cd's would have made it through usable.
