Your test of the black Amidol is exactly what I was after. If it works, it
works!
I don't know what the pink stain on Azo could be when using regular fixer
but silver chloride is the easiest of the silver salts to fix and doesn't need
the power of rapid fixer.
I can attest to the list that you guys make beautiful prints.
