[pure-silver] Re: Agfa Supreme Pack Film

Thanks Richard, appreciate the response. The photographer wrote many of =
the
details on the US Negative Envelope and it says the pictures were taken =
with
a Speed Graphic. While the negative is slightly larger the image size is
4x5.

I know the feeling about having a tidy work environment. My wife has =
gone on
a tidiness binge, including my office and my darkroom now I am =
scrambling to
find basics.

Supreme was a trade name used by Agfa Ansco for a medium=20
speed general purpose film for quite a long time. Since=20
these negatives are larger than 4x5 they were probably for a=20
centimeter size plate camera. Sheet films of 4x5 and larger=20
are slighly smaller than their nominal size. Supreme would=20
probably be about ISO-30. The name was perpetuated in later=20
Agfa/Ansco films as Superpan Supreme. I have an Agfa/Ansco=20
1937 catalogue somewhere but coundn't find it just now. I=20
will look again. When my house was messy I knew where=20
everything was, now that its neat I can't find anything.
