Ryuji, I would normally respond to this sort of thing off
list if at all but I've just had enough of your rudeness and
arrogance. Its time to call this behavior what it is.
Do you think you have no obligations here? You are dead
wrong. This list is a social community with certain rules of
expected behavior. Its entire purpose is to share knowledge.
If you do not want to share your learning with others I
suggest you leave the list. For that matter perhaps you
should reconsider your motives for studying the sciences.
Sharing and teaching are inherent components of science,
without them you are something short of that.
You are very good at telling people that they are wrong
and don't know what they are talking about but not very good
at supplying information yourself. I have been a victim of
this and so have others on this list. A statment is made
with some reference to its source. You come back saying its
entirely wrong. The source is given as a well known and
accepted text, your answer is that its too old, chemistry is
nothing like it was, everything in older books and articles
is wrong. Well, maybe, but you don't replace that
information with anything else. I remember asking you
somthing once and having you mail me an artical that had no
relevance to the subject at all. Really an attempt to snow
me with advanced science. Shame on you. No one here is
pretending to be what they are not. We are mostly not
professional scientists or specialists in chemistry. We are
mostly amateur photogeraphers with a hunger to know more
about the process we know. You have been treating all of us
pretty shabily. I remember your chasing away Micheal
Gudzinowicz from this list. Micheal is a Phd chemist with
excellent credentials; a former researcher for Bell
Telephone Laboratories in its hay day. You treated him with
utter contempt. On top of this Micheal was recovering from
heart surgery at the time. Ryuji, I don't like rudeness, I
don't like unfairness, and I don't like arrogance, you have
consistently displayed all of those in this list. You may be
very smart and have a very good mind but as a human being
you leave a lot to be desired. I regret having to write this
but I think its necessary. If you decide to leave the list I
will regret it because I don't like to see people hurt. If
you decide to stay please apply some of your intelligence to
understanding what has happened. I am dead certain this
affects other aspects of your life. Unless you are one of
those odd souls that doesn't need other people at all it
truly needs attention.
