If you are going to make 4x10 contact prints you should print on
silver chloride paper to get the most beautiful prints--deep blacks,
long gray scale.
The last silver chloride paper was Azo, now gone. I am having another
silver chloride paper made. See:

Do you have a darkroom to cut the 8x10 film into the 4x10 dimensions?
Make up a cutting board of some type so you do not cut off your fingers when
you cut your film.
Processing.... ???? BTZS type tubes? Deep tanks and 4x5 hangers? ( I am
more curious than experienced....)

Just purchased a fotomanan 4x10 with 120mm cone. Plan to contact print
on silver and platinum.
Anyone using this format? Any wisdom out there?
