The servers are backward compatible, so the older clients will work happily
with the
new servers. The newer client will give more performance, and is compatible
with
fldigi 3.10. On the fldigi side a lot of bugs have been fixed,,,,
In general, the new client allows more services (like automatic reception
of bulletins and IAC fleetcodes and autolink facility) which you may not need...
