Hi Orrin,

As you numbered your findings I'll try to answer them by those
references.

1: Correct, it does that the very first time. It works fine if you close
the client gui and start it agn. It also works fine if you restore your
settings from a backup (from a usb memory). This is an issue the very
first time the client gui is started only, I have thought abt looking
into it for a while but other things have always surfaced so...
Its not a big issue but it should, of course, be fixed.

2. I guess this is related to (1) ? I havent seen that in any situation,
I'll have a look.

3. The server can enter an unknown state and do strange things, it
happens less nowadays but can happen. It could be something else too but
to know for sure we would have to ask the sysop. A good thing is to have
a web page where the server activities can be monitored, I use the page
at the server here a lot and I can then see what the server actually
receives and transmits. Server stability is very important and we need
more usage to make sure we find and fix any potential problem.

4. I'll leave that question for Rein (I have only very briefly tested
TTY mode).

Thanks for testing and writing a detailed report, it really helps to
make this a better system.
