Did a test with it still googlemail.com which failed. Sent a mail to the same address via internet but using @gmail.com in place of @googlemail.com and it arrived. Attempted to change details and clicked update server but forgot to save so it failed. Saved it a second time but forgot to update server. After server update I collected all 4 items f mail. It works. Conditions not to good so failed to send a reply during the same session. 73 Roger G6CKR On Wed, 2011-01-26 at 17:09 +0000, Roger G6CKR wrote: > On Wed, 2011-01-26 at 16:50 +0100, Rein Couperus wrote: > > There are 3 traps in gmail: > > > > 1.: userid MUST contain @gmail.com > Mine is Googlemail.com which i will leave for now > > 2.: POP setting in your gmail account: Enable POP for ALL MAIL, > not set. it is now > > 3': Check 'keep Gmail's copy in the inbox > That seems to be the default once the above is set > > > > The remaining possibility is that userid or password are wrong. > > BTW, the POP setting in the gmail account has the habit of changing when > > you log into webmail.... > > > Will test and report. if propagation is still up. > Roger > > Rein PA0R > > > > >Hi. > > >I have managed to send mail and get fleetcode info but although there > > >should be 2 messages to retrieve the server (SM0RWO) tells me there is > > >no mail. > > >Any ideas ? > > >73 Roger G6GCK > > > > > > > > > > > >
