Hi all, Rein and I have been busy and so here is an updated version of the jpskmail beta! There was an unexpected "feature" in v0.2 in that you had to be in the northern hemisphere with an easterly longitude to get a proper beacon. That has been fixed along with a number improvements: - GPS is now better handled through options, unchecking closes the port - GPS will now be started right away, no need to enable and restart the client any more. - Should the GPS be unaccessible then the checkbox/setting will be unchecked and the port closed (that could cause a loop before). - GPS updates course and speed textboxes, added tooltip to explain units - Loggingclass/errorhandler is now improved - Read and QTC buttons are now working. It doesn't store the mailheaders yet but reading email should be possible. - Updating the server enabled. You can now upload your email settings to the server, essential in order to be able to read&send email And a few other things. Thanks in advance to those that pretested this beta and reported. 73 de Per, sm0rwo P.s. This will soon appear on the ftp server.
