My server had also been down for reasons "computer" related, but I plan on getting this weekend and more "full time" operation. More activity the better, its very sparse here overall... I miss copying KB2PNM as that was all I could "typically" copy on 30/20m. KB1NCJ would "peek" in randomly later, but very randomly and more so on 20m then 30. I will be scanning 20/30 and maybe 40/17. I am using a Jetstream JTV680 vertical at 25ft. First, it's being disadvantage for being a vertical and suspect "take-off" angle and coverage is erratic with the only antenna available here. 73 Josh, AB9FT ________________________________ From: Robert Krasowski <dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "pskmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <pskmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 6, 2014 3:41 PM Subject: [pskmail] Re: Test Server suggestions, advice wanted Mine is down after Kenwood 480 that I was using stopped working. But I can revive it if we find some users. Robert KB2PNM On Friday, June 6, 2014 4:37 PM, Greg <kb1ncj@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: I can get my server back on for this weekend. It's a little tough receive there due to local qrm. We do need more servers here in the US. I may set another one up in the north in the future which you may have better luck with. 73 Greg On 06/05/2014 10:00 PM, Stephen Rector wrote: > Hi All: > > I’m fairly new to PSKmail, but not to radio, HF digital or the computer end > of things. > > We’re shy of servers in the US. This weekend I want to set up a test server with the goal of ultimately placing one of my radios in full-time service as a PSKmail server. Since I have a computer active 24/7 at home, this is not much of a burden, save for the extra antenna. > > The computer is an iMac running the latest OS-X/unix.
