Hi Roberto, thanks for your comments... I will comment below > > Server > > > > 1- To write "User mail informations" in crypted mode for the privacy and > security. This infos actually, in the database server (user_db), are writed in clearly mode and all sysops of server can see passwords of all users in database. Many users could not be agreement. > Can do. But you will loose the possibility to edit the database records manually. Maybe the best strategy is to limit database editing to DELETE and ADD records. > > 2- To improve psk125 decoder in the server (not in fldigi... i thinking of > the gmsk file of input), because often i see that server reply while user is > answering, creating collisions. > The code for this is ready is version 0.5 of the server. Because there is no fldigi version with the new Posix System V message queu that works for the server (AFC problems in 1.37S) this is waiting for deployment. Sop DCD has been introduced in the client but not yet in the server. > > Client > > > > 1- To improve selection of the language in the pskmail client. We need a script to edit that automatically. Need a volunteer to do that, to keep the stuff maintainable. > > 2- To improve mail "Read" command to send Read 1 or Read 2 etc, actually is > necessary to write in TTY mode i think. > I don't understand this point... The pskmail_puppy version is very limited on memory footprint to make it useable on machines with 192 MB RAM. Also the windows version is tight on memory, and the default browser (Sea Monkey) is quite heavy. > > 6- To prepare a menu where insert all calls (selectable at the moment) to > which send unproto (CTRL-L) or connection. > > At the moment you can edit '~/mail/.servers' Some more points from my side: * include clock in the GUI * automatic switch back to MAIL/APRS mode after chat qso * switch off APRS beacon during chat * server function to QSY to a certain channel on request, with automatic return to schedule 73, Rein PA0R PS: These items could be on the 'Todo" page of the wiki for discussion... -- http://pa0r.blogspirit.com
