[pskmail] Seemingly good connect but not mail sent.

I asked this question last week but still need to improve my
understanding. Today I am able to connect to WB5CON at the first try,
every time. We seem to hear each other well. I send mail and then

*TX* <SOH>0.s&!!F1CE<EOT><US><SOH>.s"%%338C<EOT>

*TX* <SOH>0.s&!!F1CE<EOT><US><SOH>0.s"%%338C<EOT>

*TX* <SOH>0.s&!!F1CE<EOT>

Today I noticed that my transmitter transmits after each transmission
from WB5CON. Does that imply that we are still hearing each other
well , or is my transmitter activated simply according to a timing
factor ? If we are hearing each other on every occasion, I do not
understand why the email does not get through and why I do not get a
"message sent" indicator . Perhaps the two stations ping-ponging does
not mean they are hearing each other. I did eventually get the
message through.
