just checked - YES pop is set, always has (says gmail)
here is current server settings:
Commands for KD5WDQ-1:
1: Pop host = pop.gmail.com
2: Pop user = kd5wdq
3: Pop password = xxxxx
4: SMTP server = smtp.gmail.com
5: From address = kd5wdq@xxxxxxxxx
6: Mail file = .mailuser
7: APRS password = 18848
9: Delete callsign
0: Exit

Bill, had a few minutes before leaving for work
(work nights) and gave it a try.
still says "No Mail" from the server. like Per
said, it's got to be a config. problem.
