Regarding the ubuntu-eee and the preferences dialog: For some reason the local files of RXTX are not found. So, they must be installed in the system java path properly. Here is how I did that: 1. cd to the jpskmail folder 2. copy the files to the system java path: sudo cp librxtxSerial.so /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.10/jre/lib/i386/ sudo cp lib/RXTXcomm.jar /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.10/jre/lib/ext And then it works. 73 de Per, sm0rwo sön 2009-03-22 klockan 21:21 +0100 skrev Rein Couperus: > Meanwhile it has become a ubuntu-eee PC, happily running fldigi 3.10 and > jpskmail. > > We did find a bug in jpskmail when running under ubuntu eee, the preferences > dialog is not opening... > But that is what betas are for... btw, the configration.xml can be > edited manually.... > > 73, > > Rein PA0R > > > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > > Von: "Steve" <stevez@xxxxxxxxxx> > > Gesendet: 22.03.09 21:10:30 > > An: pskmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Betreff: [pskmail] Re: Mirrors updated > > > > Although I said the Java client works well, what I should have said is > > that it starts and shows the GUI.
