Do ctrl+alt+t to open a terminal, type: sudo gedit /etc/group
Enter your password and step down to the line:
dialout:x:20:
Change it to:
dialout:x:20:gunnar
(or what your user is called).
Save, log out and try again.

Updated my server today wit a new installation Lubuntu 12.04 and
server 1.8.
Having some problems with accessing the usbports, incomming ok
outgoing no.
Anyone know the syntax for setting permits to access them?
