HI
Here is just an idea that can improve PSKMail. This is the results of many
emails that were exchanged between my friend on the way from Canary's Island to
Martinique and my server. He has 1000 miles to go.

1/ It would be great if emails sent from PSKMail server had attached text
explaining about slow link etc, something similar that sailmail has. F. ex:

Do not push the "reply" button to respond to this message since doing so will
includes the text of this original message in your response.  Messages are sent
over a very low-speed radio link.

The most concise way to reply is to send a NEW message
to:  pskmailClient e-mail address
If you DO use your reply button, be sure to delete the original message text
and these instructions from your reply.

Replies should not contain attachments and should be less than 5 kBytes (2 text
pages) in length. Please do not send pictures.

This email was delivered by PSKMail system  which is operated by ham radio
volunteer. For more information please check the following link:

The reason for that is very simple, we all just simply press replay and write
what we want without thinking about it. Also today we had few emails with a
picture of newborn baby that somebody sent to the crew. That created some
problem, 1Mb file.
There are few more glitches that we were able to noticed, after this trip will
finished I will write report with comments and suggestions.

And just funny note, I am getting a little crazy I guess, yesterday for 30 min
I was watching  my server exchanging emails, I was ENJOYING  seeing modes being
change, asymetrical links, s2n numbers, missing packets, I tell you that is a
piece of work that  you have done with this software. Thanks you.

PS. We made changes in Client software - TXdelay changed to 1s from 0 which
eliminated problem of server not being able to catch full ACK from client in
PSK250R

Best Regards
Robert
