UBUNTU = Debian... maybe XUBUNTU should have a smaller footprint... KDE and Gnome take their toll... For the DebianDxpeditionDisk I used Morphix, which is based on Knoppix. They have a version using a lite window manager (I think it wa IceWM. (By the way, UBUNTU also uses the Knoppix hardware detection mechanism). If needs be we good even go back to twm as a window manager as a last resort... But what can you use a computer with 128M for these days? WIN95, WIN98 and WIN2k are not supported any more, and XP is severely crippled in 128MB. I guess it would be fair to request at least 256MB... a 256MB DIM costs $32.
