Hi,

I've been busy with other stuff a while here but figured I should catch
up, had a look at this.
We used to only have "F", "M" and "" but I see some new stuff there.
Looks like this to me:
F : freqs.txt contains frequencies and fldigi modes so try to set those.
M: freqs.txt contains memory channels and fldigi modes so try to set
those, requires a memtable also.
S: Only get the mode from freqs.txt and send that to fldigi. This code
does not look like the description you had below.
C: This seems odd to me, it sets the command "H" through hamlib (set
memory channel) but manpage says "not implemented yet".
I wouldn't use the last one but I suppose there is a use case for it.

I don't see any "O" anywhere in the code.

I had the PTT issue with my FT897D. Whenever I enable the CAT side of
the interface it will raise RTS and that causes the rig to transmit.
I found no good solution to that, had to get an extra cat interface cable.
