Hello Rein, others;
Thanks for the answer and sorry for the delay in answering. I connected to
9A1CRA so does
the error mean his server software is not up-to-date or is this an existing
issue? Unfortunately
I was out of reach of any other station to test.
As for the second issue, I understand the record update mechanism but I thought
it would
suffice to update a server once and that it would retain the information
indefinitely. Instead
I have to update each server every single time I connect. Never tried to
'remove' the record
though, will look into how that works and report back...
Thx, Alex ON8ACM

Hi
Alex,
the first one is an error message of the server... do
you remember which server?
The second problem can be related to
the cache of the server.
You should get the message
"Updated database for
ON8ACM" from the server
telling you that the cache has been
updated.
There is no central server containing the
data, so you have to do this for
every server you
try to use. Once the server
accepts the record it should
remain in cache until changed.
Sometimes it helps to first remove the record before
updating.
Hope this helps,
Rein PA0R

Hello,
I tried but failed to send mail recently:
Error sending mail: can't call method send without a
package or object reference
at /usr/local/share/pskmail-server/rflinkserver.pl 5097
Separately, what am I doing wrong that I always receive the
message
'Missing user email settings, Please upload'
no matter how often I update the server?
